Is Whateren really a one-time purchase?

Yes. You pay $9.99 once and get every feature and every future update. There is no subscription and nothing to unlock later.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, and optionally in your personal iCloud for sync and sharing. Whateren has no accounts, and your inventory is never stored on our servers.

How does AI identification work?

Take a photo and Whateren suggests a name, brand, category, and estimated value. The free mode runs entirely on-device with Apple Vision. The premium mode sends that single photo to Claude after you explicitly consent; credit-funded requests pass through Whateren's relay, which forwards them without storing your photo. Each identification costs 1 credit.

What do AI credits cost?

Every new user starts with 5 free credits. Packs start at $0.99 for 100 credits. If you have your own Anthropic API key you can use it instead and skip credits entirely.

Can I share my inventory with family?

Yes. Share any property with anyone who has an iCloud account, with per-person view or edit permission. Invitations are private; there are no public links.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later, with a full split-view layout and hardware keyboard shortcuts on iPad.
